I am 21 and have thin hair just above the forehead how can this be cured?

i had thick hair at birth, with age and gain in height the thinning of hair began.have tried all home remedies of oil massage,vitamins etc. but were of no consequence.kindly help .

are you sure you're not just pulling out more hair around your face when you style your hair? be gentle. if this isn't the case, 21 seems young for thinning hair. some medical conditions can cause hair loss. (diabetes, thyroid disease, polycystic ovary syndrome, kidney and liver disease) ask your doctor what he thinks about your thinning hair, as well as any other symptoms you may have. have you had a baby recently? after i gave birth, i lost some hair, and mostly around my face. this is normal, but it starts to grow back in a month or two. also, a poor diet can contribute to hair loss.

i have "Queen for a day thinkning spray" l0l.... it makes your hair a lot thicker looking.. and i think even makes it thicker,.. its nice! its by "bed head" and i get it at Toni and Guy

We all have thick hair when younger; Thin hair is the begining stage of hair loss. If you are a male forget about it there's no cure for male balding because is caused by male hormones. Sean Connery started losing his hair in his 20's and he had to use a "taupe" on all James Bond movies.

Household "cures" are proved to be useless to fight hair loss. Some drugs can help stop and reverse minor cases but they are not 100% effective and are useless in severe cases. If the person stop using this drugs the hair loss return.

Some of this drugs can't be taken by females and other can cause child birth defects without being directly taken if someone else at the house use them. Ask a Doctor, not a salon guy, which treatment can be useful to you.

If drugs are not for you (I hate them too) because of the possible side effects, you can try a different hair style to conceal it. Many movie stars got thin hair but they just use hair stylists and some tricks to make their hair look thicker.
