How do i fix dull and flat, oily yet thin hair?

clarifying shampoos for major product removal that you didn't know you had. A little ph balanced conditioner so your scalp doesn't produce too much oil to compensate what it just lost. A little heat protectant spray before you blow dry with your head upside down starting at the roots to give you lift. And a chi flat iron to give you a sleek shine since it seal your hair cuticles.

Of course you don't have to do everything hear everyday. But doing these things will help you.

well if it is dull, why not get a new do?

you can do many things with you hair.

If it is oily I recommend you wash it

2 times with shampoo and condition it well.

Make sure you get it out because it can be the cause

of the oil and grease, also get a shampoo/conditioner that strengthens hair so it can be thicker!

By first realizing that your hair isn't nearly as bad looking to anyone else as it is to you or any other part of your body for that matter. (height, weight, etc...) People exaggerate their own flaws. You can fix the flat with tastefull use of hair spray, the dull with the right conditioner and not worry about the thin. As for the oily, if you have really oily hair then I might have the solution. I had what I though was dandruff, but may have been dry skin flaking off, because I only had it once for a month, but I borrowed a dandruff shampoo in a brown bottle from some one. It was thick and black and one of the main ingredients was tar. I followed the directions and it stripped every bit of grease from my hair for a day or two.

Use a toner, like witch hazel, to absorb the excess oils before you style.

what kind of shampoo are you using? how often are you shampooing? do you chemically treat your hair (color, highlights, perms, etc)? what do you mean by dull? do you mean it has no shine? do you blow dry your hair? do you use styling products? if so, what kinds?

if your hair is not chemically treated, i would recommend shampooing once a day with a basic volumizing shampoo, like matrix amplify, and following up with a volumizing conditioner on the ends only, like matrix amplify conditioner. if by dull you mean no shine, id recommend a clarifying shampoo once a week. i use my husband's paul mitchell tea tree shampoo; it has peppermint in it and it's mentholated so it tingles :). thin hair will be flat if you use no styling products and you let it dry naturally. you need at least a basic volumizing mousse (a root boost is better), and you must blow dry your hair. blow drying will also reduce oiliness.
