I just want to go to a regular hair salon like Super Cuts and get my hair thinned. But last time I went the lady used the thinning shears on the very tips of my hair. (I have no clue why. I just asked her to thin my hair because it was so thick.) So what do I tell the hair stylist?

Tell your sytlist you want your hair thinned all the way through, not just at the tips.

You have two options to thin your hair:

1. Straighten it

2. Cut your hair in layers.

i have the same problem my hair is VERY thick so when i went to get my hair cut i went to super cuts and i told the lady to thin my hair ALOT! and she did but i think she thinned it a bit much but just tell her thin it but not so it looks like you have almost no hair!!

Get it razor cut, it takes away a lot of thickness, and leaves the rest easy to layer.
