Talk to your doctor about medications. I don't believe they'll grow back the hair you've lost, but if started early enough, they will prevent further hair loss.

Do not EVER do a comb-over or any other crazy cover-up. Given the options, baldness is better than everyone knowing you're trying to hide it. :)

If you want to try them, there are products that you can get at the drug store over the counter. A popular product called Rogaine comes to mind. If this doesn't work, you can always use wigs, or hair transplants, which are very expensive.

There is a new medication out called "scalp med" that is on info-mercials quite a bit. Supposedly it will grow your own hair back over a period of months. You might want to try watching early morning weekend television on the networks abc, cbs, nbc... this is where I've seen it.

Wash your hair every night, and when you get out of the shower, or bath, throw a towel on your head and message you entire head for about two or three minutes. At first it will appear to be falling out worse, but what is falling out, would have fallen out anyway. Don't give up, continue and your hair will start growing back in fuller. The reason for hair loss in many cases is a lack of exercise to the roots. This exercises the roots and keep them alive. Notice most balding is just on the top of the head but not the side. This is because while sleeping, your head turns back and forth on the pillow exercising the sides but not the top. Give it a try for a month. You can alway use rogain if you must.

Hair Loss and Acidity
