I have curly, thinner hair, it seems like I am ALWAYS getting breakage or split ends or something going wrong. I'm trying to grow it out (currently at shoulders), any suggestions on what products/tools I should be using? Or how to make it grow faster/healthier? Thanks a ton!

First, what kind of pillow case do you sleep on? Is it cotton? Switch to a satin pillow case and I can guarantee a difference in a month or less. Be gentle with your hair. Do you tie it back a lot? Try wearing it down or using a head band or head scarf to keep it out of your face. Also use a deep conditioning treatment once a week to fortify your hair. Lastly, make sure you eat a balanced diet and drink lots of water. You should see your hair growing in no time!

If you have weak hair, and are constantly getting split ends you have to be careful not to damage your hair further by heat such as hair straightener, blow dryer, etc. You also need to trim your ends once in a while, because split ends keep it from growing and there are shampoos and medicines out there that make your hair stronger. You can get a hot oil treatment from a beauty supply.

There are a few ways
Never ever ever brush or comb your hair when its wet
Second use conditioner.. always helps but just at the ends..
Third dont put your hair up in a towel.. just dry it lightly with it then let it hang..
Forth.. cut it every 6 weeks or so.. keeps the ends healthy and promotes growth..
Fifth ... Dont blow dry.. kills your hair not to mention frizzes it
And depend on your hair type.. you can do a hot oil treatment.. thats up to you

Ok.
After you wash your hair really good with conditioner. I recommend you NOT blow drying it. While it is wet, I put Infusium 23 Leave-In Treatment. It works like a charm.
I put my hair in rollers %26amp; sit under the dryer til its dry through %26amp; through.
Then I brush it out %26amp; wrap it to balance out the volume. %26lt;--But thats my hair...your may not need to be wrapped.
It may work for..or may not. Depending on your hair.
I'm crossing my fingers for you though! ;)
