How to do a poof with very thin hair?

i have thin hair and if i try to do a poof like my avitar it's just flat i've tried teasing it and everything!! any tips on how i can make the look work??

1.ok first grab the section of the hair and hold it up and spray volumizing spray or just normal hairspray and spray at the roots then as if creating static or friction scrtach[with finger SKIN] the roots.

2. ok bring it towards the back of your head and twist it about 3 or 4 times whatever it better.

3.push it up as poofy as you want it a little more if it goes back a bit..

4.ok youre gonna a lot of bobby pins[hairclips are also good...]

5.ok put 2 or 4 bobby pins in x in the twisty part and then put one straight upto through the twist to hold the poof [also with hairclipsworks ]

6.and 2 more bobby pins under the"x"[like an equal sign under the x bobby pin]so your hair wont get out of place..

finish with [alot ]of hair spray at the BOBBY PINS/HAIRCLIPS

spray very lighlty at the poof
