I used to have extremely thick hair, but I got more layers and it feels thinner. Is this normal?

My hair feels thinner since I got layers. Has my actual hair density changed, or is it just the layers? Also, is it really bad to have thin to medium hair instead of thick?

I KNO. SAME THINK HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE. LAYERS ARE MEANT TO REDUCE VOLUME/THICKNESS!

your maybe thinner depending what your haircutter used. were they thinng shears knotchers straight razor . and sure layers are intended to make hair have thinner than before hair in lengths so if you wanted to take bulkness out a straight razor should be used.

It's also best to learn to like the kind of hair you have. You can't change it.
